Up to 150 guests. The hall can accommodate a full day of conference sessions in plenary and a long dinner with speeches and dancing.
Are there fewer of you? The hunting lodge on the same estate has a meeting room that seats 30—that's what most groups on Malungen choose.
Can we hold a wedding or a party at Gildehallen?
Yes. There are no restrictions on the type of event you host. Dinner and dancing can take place under one roof, and guests can stay overnight on the farm afterward, so no one has to worry about driving home.

What about food and drinks?
Gildehallen does not have a kitchen for cooking, but it has everything needed to prepare and serve food on site: serving equipment, a commercial dishwasher, and a cold storage room.

Our catering partner provides everything from lunch for a professional development day to a banquet for 150 people. We'll include that in the quote.

If you also rent Jaktslottet, you can use the commercial kitchen there, which has two stoves and two cold storage rooms.

Yes. Malungen Gjestegård has 79 beds in 36 bedrooms, spread across seven cabins around the courtyard. Accommodations must be booked along with the hall. If your group has more than 79 people, the rest can come as day guests.

At Malungen Gjestegård, Odalsvegen 1601 in Stange. It’s about 1.5 hours by car from Oslo and 1 hour from Gardermoen, with on-site parking at the farm—including for buses.

Projector, dance floor, and parking in the courtyard. A sound system can be rented for an additional NOK 1,500.
