Help with challenges in Norwegian cabins

Dishwasher won't start

Check that the water is connected. The water connection switch is usually located on the mixer tap on the kitchen sink. See the example in the image above (switch on the left of the mixer tap).

Plate top does not start

There is a kitchen sensor on the wall above the hob. Unfortunately, it is very sensitive. Press the button on the kitchen sensor to restart. The kitchen sensor must NEVER be moved.

start electric sauna

There are usually two switches you need to turn on.

1. Set the temperature

2. Set the timer. NB! Turn the switch within the shaded area. Otherwise, start-up will be delayed.

 

Light the fire in the fireplace

1. Add 3-4 small cubes

2. Ensure plenty of oxygen. Leave the door ajar and open a window nearby.

3. Add larger logs gradually, and when the fire is burning well, close the door.

Feel free to use firelighters for easy ignition.

NB!! The kitchen fan must not be used when the fireplace is lit. The fan will draw smoke into the living room.

Experience our brand new sauna facility in Mjøsli. The sauna can accommodate 6 people and has both a shower and changing room.
