Where can I find a large cabin to rent near Oslo?

We have large cabins at three locations near Oslo:

• Mjøsli near Lake Mjøsa, 1 hour from Oslo and 30 minutes from Gardermoen: Østerdalsstua (18 guests) and Tones Cabin (12).
• Budor In the mountains, 1.5 hours from Oslo: Casa Leo (16), Løvsangeren (14), Budor Alpinlodge (12), and Oteren (12).
• Malungen Guest farm, 1.5 hours from Oslo: 79 beds in seven cabins surrounding the same courtyard.

How many of us can there be?

Up to 18 people in a single cabin. If there are more of you, you can rent cabins located close to each other—or the entir Malungen n Guest Farm, which has 79 beds on the same property.

Can we rent several cabins next to each other?

Yes. The four Fugleredene cabins at Mjøsli each accommodate 4 guests—16 in total. The three Konglehyttene cabins can accommodate 10 guests in total, each with its own private sauna. Email [email protected], and we’ll find cabins that suit your group.

Are the large cabins suitable for family reunions, groups of friends, and company outings?

Yes. The entire cabin is yours, with space to cook and eat together around a table. If you’re planning a gathering or party for a large group, the Gildehallen at Malungen is perfect for that, with room for 150 people. If you need meeting rooms, check out the conference cabins.

How much does it cost to rent a large cabin?

Prices vary depending on the season and demand. The starting price is listed for each cabin, and you’ll see the total price—including linens and final cleaning—when you search for your dates. Malungen We provide prices for Gjestegård upon request.
