Who is Stæren right for?
Two families with children who want to travel together and need enough space so everyone has their own room. Large groups of friends—up to ten people—who want a campfire, a fireplace, and plenty of breathing room. Or the extended family that doesn’t want to compromise on either sleeping arrangements or parking. The sleds hanging in the cabin are an extra bonus for the little ones—and for the adults who haven’t quite outgrown it.

Budor is a snow-sure mountain destination with 300 kilometers of cross-country trails. The ski trails start right outside the cabin for many of the properties in the area, and the Budor ski resort is just a short drive away. In the summer, Koiedalen—with its swimming spot, shelter, and the Rondane Trail—is within walking distance. The Budor guesthouse and restaurant are just a few minutes away.
