What makes Tyven unique?
It took us two years to plan and build Tyven. We drew inspiration from The Thief hotel on Tjuvholmen in Oslo. That’s also where the name “
” comes from. The cabin spans 80 square meters across two floors, with large windows that frame the natural surroundings. After a day out in nature, you can
sink into the private hot tub and enjoy the tranquility.
National Geographic included Tyven as part of its “Lakes & Mountains” feature on Norway.
★★★★★
“We had a fantastic stay at ‘The Thief.’ Beautiful surroundings, an incredibly nice cabin, and a view that simply has to be experienced. The host was friendly and responded quickly whenever we needed anything. We’d love to come back. Highly recommended😊” – Nishant (Airbnb guest)
Who is *The Thief* for?
The Tyven is perfect for those who want something out of the ordinary. With three bedrooms, it’s ideal for a group of friends or a small family who appreciate design and comfort. Two full bathrooms mean no waiting in line in the morning. And the jacuzzi…? That alone is reason enough to book it.
